Coming Soon: The Apple Sauce Collection!

Introducing, the Apple Sauce Collection, the debut mini collection of sewing patterns created by Melbournian Amy Wolchyn (thats me!) for Apple Sauce Studio! The collection includes three patterns; a peter pan collared top, a quarter circle skirt with zipper fly, and a dramatic shirtdress.

The #AppleSauceTop

This top is a simple, shorter project that can show off a cute print or pretty weave perfectly, and the collar is a perfect vehicle for a bit of cute embroidery or fancy trim. The top is fitted at the bust, slightly cropped, and a loose fit at the waist. It has short sleeves and a simple keyhole closure at the back which can work with a button and loop, a hook and eye, or fabric ties.

The #AppleSauceSkirt

This skirt is a quarter circle with a straight waistband, beltloops, side pockets, and a zipper fly. It's perfect for a mid to heavy weight fabric and carries a print beautifully. The hem falls just below my knees (I'm 5'9"/175cm, for reference).

The #AppleSauceDress

This shirtdress has a strong 70's inspired collar (because I LOVE a good collar) and a dramatic hem shape finished with a facing. It has short sleeves and an a-line shape from the bust, and can be worn with or without a belt. It also has in-seam pockets, which is always something to be excited about.

My hope for Apple Sauce Studio and the first collection is to help sewists (and new sewists!) have the ability to create garments that they will love and cherish.
